Tamale Hut Café, is a Tamale House or “Tamaleria” where you can purchase the best tasting tamales. Tamale Hut Café is not a coffee house but, a place to eat and cater great tasting Tamales for you, friends and events.

Tamale Hut Café’s will feature not just great tasting tamales, but great tasting coffee, non-coffee drinks, gourmet salsas, and Mexican popsicle’s -- “paletas” (seasonal). Going to a Tamale Hut Café will be a gratifying and learning experience for our customers.

Our first Tamale Hut Café opened January 16th, 2006 at 8300 W. Cermak Road, North Riverside, IL 60546. Anticipating success we are planning to open more Tamale Hut Café’s in the Chicago area.  Our growth and success will depend on providing great tasting Tamales and great customer service.

At Tamale Hut Café, tamales and customer service will not just be our focus. Customers will be treated like family. Using an old family recipe, our tamales are hand-rolled and made fresh daily, to insure great tasting tamales.
